This wildflower was seen infrequently on my recent Pt Reyes trip. I first discovered it on the Mt Vision road, that goes to a vista point where evidently you have quite a view. It was completely fogged in for us. But in dark light, I did notice this pretty flower (notice the high ISO). I don't think I have even seen a wildflower quite like this one. Three petals splay out, and three doing a little pirouette.

This is the top down view of the same flower. Most flowers don't have both an interesting viewpoint from the side and the top, like this one does.
