Time for another architecture shot! This image was made many moons ago up in Vancouver, BC. After (yet another) great trip on the boat Oasis, I was just wandering the city, camera in hand. From the outside of this building, I could see that it had a lovely atrium, so in I went.
The atrium area had all kinds of interesting objects and points of view, but this one is my favorite. The flags are actually very long, like 60 feet, believe it or not. Looking up through my viewfinder, I simultaneously tried to match up all the triangles on the edges for symmetry, and not fall on my keester. No cropping here! And I don't think I fell, making a spectacle of my American self.
Architecture shooting is fun. I'm not that much of a fan of big cities where all the big buildings live, but I'll take advantage when I am there.
