The Red Binder (It's the one in the blue circle)
In these strange economic times, just living day to day can be so challenging. It seems like every day there is another business shutting down. I have seen entire office buildings that are empty.
So as a service to other business owners and their employees, I'm going public with a well kept secret: The Red Binder. The Red Binder is a resource that has been handed down from prior generations, for just these kinds of times. Think of it like The Davinci Code, but for business owners.
Before I unlock the secrets of The Red Binder however, some blog housekeeping is in order.
Late last week the blog passed an important milestone, it's 10,000th page view. My readership has been growing slowly, and I'm ever grateful for each visitor and especially each comment and commenter. Tell your friends about my blog if you enjoy it. Go ahead and tweet me up you twitterers.
New Photo Blogs for Your Viewing Pleasure
I regularly work my way around the web looking for interesting blogs and photographers. When I have several, I do a little piece on them (like this one) and add them to my blogroll over on the right.
Here are four that are new to me and our readers, that represent some fantastic work:

Each of these photographers is producing interesting and high quality work. Check them out, leave them a comment on the ones you like!

Okay, I have kept you waiting long enough. Click on the continue link to learn The Secret of the Red Binder.
Moving The Red Binder into Quick Access Position (circled in blue)
When you decide to deploy The Red Binder, you'll first want to move it into the QAP (Quick Access Position). A good seating position is also quite helpful. Look at the pressure this poor person is under. There's a clock right next to the keyboard, so he can make certain he's getting enough done each minute. Cell phone so the boss can instantly interrupt one high priority task with an emergency one. The binder cannot even hold all the paperwork he has to get through today.
His monitor is surrounded by Post-It's, each an important meeting that will take away from time here with the paperwork. One note about The Red Binder deployment, I generally recommend usage late in the day, when the tension around the office is at the highest.
Emergency Treatment for up to Six Victims
For those working on high pressure teams, The Red Binder is equipped to resolve conflict and ease tensions for up to six team members. Notice the placement directly on top of the offending reports. The yellow card contains The Secret to accessing the the inner workings of The Red Binder.
In an emergency, apply treatment to yourself before helping others
Here we have The Red Binder's active ingredient ready for ingestion. The calming and soothing effect may not take hold with one application. Several may be necessary depending on the severity of the situation. With a few applications, the paperwork, reports, Post-It's and other elements of office hyperactivity will begin to fade away.
I do want to point out however that given the powerful effect of The Red Binder, operating heavy machinery or motor vehicles is not recommended by this blog. Also, removal of the yellow instructional tag is a federal offense. Please share your own Red Binder story by commenting below, and best of luck fellow business people!
