A Child Forever
Canon 1D Mark III, 180mm F/3.5 Macro, f/4.5, 1/60, iso 400
There were a lot of standout images I captured during the recent street fair put on by The Tattered House. The bear shot I posted early this week was my favorite. But this one caught my eye as well. I loved the rich, saturated colors. These porcelain dolls have aged so well, all in all.
When I look at this image, it makes me think of a child trapped in an aging body, still childlike, but with wrinkles - the cracks. I'm glad these dolls have empty heads.. that would really be a life of frustration.
