[Winding the clock back a few months...] Last Fall I was on a mission to mostly not take any classic Fall color shots - just pretty stands of trees. Nothing against it, but I wasn't going to be anywhere that I hadn't been before. Another picture of a stand of trees....
So on a few of my outings, I was on a "one leaf" project. I could only shoot - you guessed it - one leaf at a time. This shot came out of one of those days. Although it isn't a classic leaf like a maple or amber, there is something about this I like. For one, the simplicity. And I enjoy the bokeh a great deal. But I think mostly it's just nature's curves again, something that always draws me in. We cannot top how nature does it herself. Well, I guess that Frank Gehry comes pretty danged close, doesn't he?
Anyway, just a simple shot for today. Let me know if it is working for you, or even if it isn't.
