You probably recognize the name Nick Noble because he comments frequently here on my blog. He's an excellent photographer, and this post on his blog inspired me to revisit my own pier shots from the Central Coast trip in January.
I selected this one as I wanted to feature the "bones" of the structure. A Lightroom preset called "RJ-Cinema Cold" gave it this wintry look, which I then lightened up somewhat, as it was too blue for my taste.
We are still having cold and rain here on the West Coast. Might look just like this one of these mornings down in San Simeon. I hope you like this one, and leave a comment on Nick's images if you like them. His main image today is a triptych of these pier shots. Nice work Nick!
