My niece's family came to visit us up at Lake Tahoe last weekend, so we slipped out for a bit of shooting. As I have said before here on the blog, Megan is both a talented photographer and also enjoys the modeling.
Since I don't have the posing skills of say my bud Tim Engle, it's nice to work with someone that has her own posing repertoire. We shot for about two hours in the barren high desert, near Sierraville, CA.
This particular setup was actually my idea. We tried different angles, straight up the road, that kind of thing, but this one was my favorite. Of course as soon as we really got into it there started a parade of cars, so it was up/down, up/down. In Lightroom, I used a B&W/Orange Filter preset to provide the post treatment.
Somehow, this image just says "teenage years" to me. How about you?
