The range of clay products they make at Gladding McBean is truly astonishing. Besides all the sizes of pipes, there is a whole range of "architectural" work. Their creations grace buildings all over the country.
These handsome dudes live in the modeling studio. They no longer work in here, it's basically a museum. Lots of fun to shoot. These guys are on a table about 30" high, but shooting down on them was pretty boring, so I decided to work the other way. I rather like this one. Environmental - you get a sense of the incredbile building.
