I photographed this little angel in the small town I went to, the one largely devoid of tourists. Her mom had a small table with jewelry, and I believe she was doing homework. I asked her mom if it was okay to take some pictures of her and she said "si" so I took several, this one being the best.
Of course then her mom put the hard sell on me and I was only too happy to oblige. I bought a special charm that she said would bring me good luck. 20 pesos (about $1.65). I pinned it to my camera bag and continued on my way.
These children are just beautiful, to my eyes.
