Another image from my recent Mare Island (Vallejo, CA) shoot. This building really intrigued me. The green "windows" are actually just corrugated tin panels. They certainly wanted it to look like a building with windows, but in actuality it doesn't have any!
I was shooting this gantry and happened to see how it framed the building and smokestack.
In Lightroom I hovered over several presets, looking for a grungy look. I chose "PH Edgy Church" then used several sliders to reduce the effect of the preset. It was over the top. Hopefully I brought back to the "just right" stage. I then added film grain, one of the new additions in LR 3.0.
