Coming home Sunday from Seattle, we were treated to this unusual sight. Now a sailboat in front of the Seattle waterfront is common, but not with this flat stretch of water.
On our Island, the Ferry system keeps a spare ferry. It's always in the same place. Well, I guess every so often they take it out for some exercise. Such was the case this Sunday. It passed in front of us, and then did a sharp turn, leaving its trail smooth as glass. Lucky for me this sailboat just happened to glide into view.
