I shot this image from my seat on Seattle's light rail train. We had just pulled into a station when I noticed this photogenic gentleman. I liked the scene a great deal, but due to the flat light and possibly through the glass shooting, the image was not popping for me.
So into Topaz Adjust we go. As I often find, the Spicify preset is my starting point. I then adjusted for a bit more detail and more detail boost. At this point the red areas (including his face/hands) were garish, but I knew I could fix that in Photoshop. Back in PS, I did a saturation adjustment, by eye, on just the red channel. Voila. Well almost. I loved the green so much I boosted it a bit more, with the same saturation dialog.
