Our Ixtapa trip in late February was half vacation and half working. Nice to be able to work anywhere, thanks to the internet. My day job is a pretty complex business. While having my morning cup of tea I watched a guy setting up his business and it gave me a little pause.
Here is Pedro. He has staked out his business site. And he has made his capital investment. One parachute and a harness.
Click on the continue link and we'll see how this business plays out.
Pedro is going to want to check out the competition. Hmmm, is this a good business opportunity? Seems like several competitors. How to get the opportunity to serve the customer?
Ah yes, the marketing plan. Which consists of letting the wind catch the chute, and advertising with a catchy logo.
And, we have landed a prospect. Heavy negotiations in in progress evidently. It appears Pedro has called in the sales manager to assist with this difficult gringo.
The sale has been made, and now we have the customer experience.
Did I mention the joint venture? Pedro has to JV with the boat owner. A profitable relationship for both sides, and the customer wins too.
That's my idea of a nice simple business.
