As I mentioned yesterday, today we take a look at the other end of a lifetime in Cuba. With the older people we saw (and in some cases talked to), you really get the feeling that life in Cuba does wear a person out.
The older people seemed tired and wrung out. Not unhappy though. They were not grumpy. Just kinda used up. At least that is how I interpret it.
It's mind boggling to think that this senor was probably born right in that building, around the time of the revolution. And he has lived his entire life right there. With nearly all the older people, if they caught us taking their picture, they didn't ask for money the way the younger ones did. Not a concept they can relate too. I wish this old gentleman well.
From a Topaz POV, today's image was run through Topaz B&W Effects. I chose a new preset I have never used before - Hand Tinted Chiffon! I rather like how it emphasized our friend, and given that I'm short on time, happy that a single preset can do such a nice job.
