I am endlessly fascinated when flying over the Earth. More so when I know what is below. Flying north from Ixtapa, once I hit the California border I knew the landscape all the way up to Seattle.
And it was a kick to fly over Yosemite, which I have done many times. Photographer's mecca. Probably some down there at that moment. See half dome there in the upper right?
Pictures through the plastic/glass windows and 6 miles of atmosphere often dissappoint however. The original of this is very hazy and blue-toned. I thought maybe Topaz Adjust 5 could cut through that and gives us a clearer view. Took a lot of preset tries however. I ended up with Grunge II, and a couple of subtle slider adjustments. But cut through it did!
See the original on the continue link and you'll see what I mean.
